Riley Faulkner has been achieving amazing things on the track lately. Riley has been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2024 UCI World Junior Track Championships in August. This includes participating in a Pre-Worlds Departure Camp in Cambridge from 10-15 August, then heading to Luoyang, China to prepare and compete from 16-27 August. As a first year Under 19 cyclist, she will be the youngest member of the NZ World Junior team (being only 16 at the time of competition), marking a significant achievement in her career.
Riley also showcased her skills at the YSD Australasian Series in Malaysia from 3-5 May, securing three medals and two personal bests, in world class times for her age.
Some of Riley’s recent achievements are:
2024: U19 Women Team Sprint NZ Championship Record
2024: U19 Women Team Sprint NZ All-Comers Record
Continuously sets NZ best times for her age over the first 250m (essential for Team Sprint starter).
Wow Riley! What awesome achievements!
