We are so proud of Ben Elder who was this week celebrated in the Grand Hall of Parliament. Ben achieved the top score in Scholarship Chemistry across the whole country. While at school, Ben was actively engaged in a range of activities across academia, sports, cultural activities and service endeavours. He made the most of all opportunities to extend his knowledge and challenge himself academically. Ben attended Rotary Science Forum and pushed himself with Olympiad competitions and events.
Managing his busy schedule while maintaining focus, drive and determination are admirable qualities Ben demonstrated in abundance.
Ben is currently studying Engineering at the University of Canterbury. We are very proud of him and his Top Scholar award and can’t wait to see what he does next.
