Cost	PAYMENTS Are to be made to BNZ, Invercargill 02 0924 0408612 02 REFERENCE: Student ID and Hockey ( Please note students cannot be placed in a team until payment has been made. This includes online payment). If this is not possible please contact Office Manager at execjunior@jameshargest.school.nz to arrange a payment plan.) If you are paying by automatic payment you need to reference it as sport or it will go to general expenses.
Other requirements i.e uniform or equipment	Issued with playing top. Need to have own school socks, hockey stick, mouth guard and shin pads.

Senior Campus Hockey

Competition details	All teams play in the local Secondary School competition which is held across Monday and Tuesday nights. Both 1st 11’s attend one of the Secondary School Tournaments held in Tournament Week ( the tournament attended depends on the previous year’s performance)

Junior Campus - Hockey 2024

JUNIOR HIGH HOCKEY 2024

Pre-season training will be held at school on a Thursday lunchtime prior to trials. All students intending to play hockey must be at these dates unless they are at camp or absent from school.

PRE-SEASON : James Hargest Junior Campus Turf -Thursday 21 March, 4 & 11 April, 2 & 9 May.

START DATE: 16 May, 2024

VENUE: ILT Invercargill Hockey Turf

TRIALS: Friday 5 April, 9.30am – 12.30pm

(Students will come to school on Friday 5 April and travel to turf on the bus provided).

SUBSCRIPTIONS: $110

(this covers affiliation fees, turf hire, buses to turf and a small gift for the coach).

Games are played at the Invercargill Hockey Turf on a Thursday

from 3.30pm and the last game will finish at approximately 8pm.

For games, students are to wear their James Hargest College hockey uniform.

They will need to supply their own hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard and socks

(socks can be purchased from James Hargest Junior College).

At this stage practices will be held on a Friday afternoon during school time.

The draw will be on the Invercargill Hockey website, Sports google classroom and the Sports Office noticeboard.

We welcome those parents and caregivers who are keen to coach, manage or help with a school team; however, you will need to be police vetted.
