Class of ‘75

Last weekend more than 40 of the original 70 James Hargest 1975 seventh form students came together in Invercargill for their 50-year ‘Class of ’75’ reunion. They came from as far afield as Vienna, Dublin, Australia and the Far North. They enjoyed dinners together and a tour of our school by our Head Students and Prefects.
The class of ‘75 are a pretty talented bunch who have achieved some impressive things in their careers. Four of their 1975 teachers came to the reunion as well. It was a great weekend and they are already talking about planning the next one! Hopefully our new Science Block will be complete and we will be able to show that off to them.
