Girls in Trades

We were fortunate to take a group of students to the Girls in Trades day, which was hosted by Great South. The day included guest speakers sharing their journeys, challenges and triumphs as women in the trades. There were many interactive sessions for students to participate in and experience hands on what different trades have to offer. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore the many pathways within the trades sector and empower our young rangatahi to explore and embrace the opportunities in the trades industries. The day truly showcased an environment where young women can thrive, break stereotypes and and learn how to build a fulfilling career in the trades.
