ENTRY FEE – $ 42 per individual

( Please note students cannot be placed in a team until payment has been made. This includes online payment.

Trials are being held on Wednesday 14 February from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.

Due to high demand there will be no practice this year  as there is  no pool space available.  This may change if the pool has any cancellations.

The competition takes place in term 1 and term 4.

Games are played at Splash Palace with the competition starting on Friday 1 March 2024 (this is a tentative date), the last game for Term 1 finishes on Friday 5 April. Games commence again for term 4 (TBC).

Students are to wear their swimming togs. Water Polo caps will be issued each week by the coach.

Game times are between 3.30 and 6 pm.

The draw and the points table for each grade will be available on the

Southland Water Polo website (www.southlandwaterpolo.co.nz) as well as the Sports Noticeboard at school.

All teams are required to carry out table duty (this means that teams are rostered on and must provide enough people to run the clock, take the score and complete the score sheet).

Trials for teams will be held at Splash Palace on Wednesday 14 February.

All students will be required to pay the pool entry fee of $5 each week to practice and the game.

Practice will only be in term 1 (due to our senior students coaching having end of year exams).

It is important that teams have a manager so if you are available to help this would be greatly appreciated.
